What is CFT?

Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) is a gentle, non-invasive form of bodywork. CFT is founded on the principle that the body has an innate ability to heal itself and that we can facilitate healing without drugs, vitamins, supplements, technology or surgery. focuses on releasing restrictions in the craniosacral system, which includes the bones of the skull, the spine, and the membranes and fluids that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. A freely moving brain, spinal cord and fascial web are must-haves for the well-being of all newborns, children, and adults.

where did CFT come from?

Also known as The Gillespie Approach, CFT originated from the cranial osteopathic principles of Dr. William Sutherland, the authentic myofascial release work of John Barnes, P.T., and Dr. Barry Gillespie’s background as a periodontist.

what is the difference between CFT and cst?

CFT (craniosacral fascial therapy) differs from CST (craniosacral therapy) in its emphasis on the fascial system, a complex web of connective tissues that permeate the entire body and connects and structurally controls every cell of the craniosacral system. The fascial aspect is a critical, missing link to healing.
